A Message from Chouhan’s Managing Director
Welcome to NASLHAN! Since 2012, our values and services have demonstrated commitment, leadership, service, and accountability to Neplease’s HIV community.
The National Association of Student Living With HIV/AIDS in Nepal is a non-profit organization registered on 2012 February and officially established on 2014 AD. The organization is dedicated to providing public benefit and support to individuals and families affected by AIDS.
Its objectives include producing documentaries related to AIDS, conducting sanitation campaigns, and undertaking other activities in the organization’s and national interest. Furthermore, the organization is committed to advocating for early childhood issues, such as children in conflict settings, reconnecting children with nature, and promoting sound national early childhood policies. This organization provided children with a lifelong learning experience by using the arts as a medium of instruction.
I am proud to have authored an internationally recognized article titled “Distance Education for Computers in Underdeveloped Countries like Nepal: Prospects and Challenges,” shedding light on the opportunities and challenges in the field of distance education, particularly in underdeveloped countries such as Nepal. Additionally, I have conducted comprehensive studies on crucial topics including “Pro-poor Targeting of Students through Proxy Means Testing and Scholarship Management in Nepal,” and “Multi-greade and Multi-class Teaching Practice in Nepal.” These studies have provided valuable insights into educational access and quality in Nepal.
Furthermore, I have shared my expertise and research findings through publications in reputable newspapers, including “Scholarships in Higher Education: Options and Management” in Nagarik Daily and “Complexities of scholarship management” in Naya Patrika Daily. These publications have allowed me to reach a wider audience and contribute to the public discourse on educational policies and practices. In addition to my research and publications, I am dedicated to providing training and workshops on early childhood education, aiming to enhance the quality of early childhood education and contribute to the professional development of educators and practitioners in the field.
Moreover, I have been actively engaged in attending conferences organized by the World Bank in Bangladesh since 2016, representing the Student Financial Assistance Fund Development Board Nepal. These conferences have provided a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration with professionals in the field of education and development. Thanks for visiting our website!
